William Shakespeare once said “The eyes are the windows to your soul”. The eyes and the areas around the eyes (periorbital area) convey much information about our emotional being and the state of our facial ageing. It is little wonder then this ranks as the highest area of concern that is encountered at Aesthetic Harmony.
As we age, we develop hollowness around the eyes, a prominent tear trough, eye bag formation, and down turning of the outer corner of the eye, causing a tired and sad appearance.
In addition to periorbital ageing, some people are born with deep eye sockets, with a hereditary appearance of dark circles under the eyes, giving a ‘tired’ look.
The underlying anatomical ageing changes that lead to the appearance of ageing in the periorbital area is complex, and treatment therefore requires careful consideration of many issues.
Several treatment modalities may be required to improve the appearance of the periorbital area. Dr Bernard Leung and Dr Jennifer Leung have accumulated a vast amount of experience treating this area. They will listen to your concerns, assess your facial anatomy in detail and recommend a treatment plan that is tailored to you.
